I have been using this bike for 7 years and it has recently started dropping oil onto the disc brake and wheel rim/tyre.
The air vent was clear, the box split and the crown wheel assembly taken to a main dealer for the oil seals to be replaced. Refilled to the level of the horizontal plug with 85/140 oil supplied by dealer. It was ok after a 40mile gentle ride with pillion pasenger but next ride up to about 60mph it was just as bad as before. Oil over disc and wheel. I now have it apart again and can see nothing wrong. I have never put the moly additive in. Any suggestions please. I am going away for a couple of weeks so may not respond for a while. Thanks

Something is causing the seal or gasket to fail. I suggest giving the dealer the complete rear drive and have them look for any problems where the seal may ride or gaskets mate to halves.

And as always; check the vent plug. A clogged can cause blowen seals.

how did you get on with the leak? As you see from my recent listing you are not the only one with oil on the brake syndrome.
