YSS & HyperPro severed

Postby GT-Rx » Fri Aug 19, 2011 12:29 pm

All, I have ended my relationship with the importer I have dealt with for over 5+ years, EPM in NJ. I can no longer recommend doing business with them. I will post again once I have a new supplier in place. I can still order Penske shocks; e-mail me direct with any questions.

Hi Todd. Sorry to hear that Klaus is screwing up. Also sorry to hear about your injury.

If your misery would like some company, I was riding to the N.C. Guzzi Rally on Aug. 4th and a fawn ran into my front wheel. The Griso and I slammed to the ground. The Griso crashed very well. It could have been ridden away except for the broken foot peg and shifter mounting bolt.

I sustained a separated shoulder and 5 broken ribs. Fortunately, everything is healing fast. I hope you do too.

Andrew, Oi... sorry to see/hear. While I love company, certainly not in this fashion. Heal well & fast. Taking it you'll heal the Griso fast as well(?).

Todd, can't you "just" handle the import yourself, or would that mean having to cater to other makes/models as well?
(I've often wondered if you couldn't arrange something for us on this side of the pond, what with Hyperpro being a European (Dutch?) brand and all ;) )

Love to, but it would mean big budget inventory and warehouse unfortunately. I also tried to talk to YSS years ago and they told me they had a U.S. importer and were not interested in another. Unfortunate.
If you can convince HyperPro otherwise, I'd love to chat more.

Maybe you should contact Wilburs and see what they can do for you? Just a suggestion.

Thanks, but Wilbers isn't a cost effective/affordable option at the moment due to the retail price and Euro vs. USD.

Hi Todd, I want to let you know that I am quite pleased with the units I got from you recently and sorry to hear that you had major problems with your suppliers.

As a token of my appreciation I am sending a few dollars your way, via the donate window, for your help. Thank you!
