Shock options

Postby waspp » Sun May 01, 2011 1:39 pm

I was unable to make any adjustments on the Quota shock and found it to be an oily mess down there so I pulled it off and found the shock buggered up. I was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement that can be bought fairly quickly as I am planning a trip at the end of May. I see the Hyperpro shock is custom and requires a 3-4 week lead time so that won't work. My other option is to find a used stock shock that someone has upgraded.

I have also been looking at BMW K100 monoshocks, they appear to be close to the same length and the flying brick is also a pretty hefty bike at 549lbs.
