Quota HeadsNot quite being up to speed on the big block heads, can anyone offer an info on what heads will fit my 2000 Quota 1100. Ive got a right head with some broken fins due to car accident and the subsequent towing of the bike by an imbecile.
Cheers

Re: Quota HeadsOn my norton, I was able to get a good weld shop to weld on some broken fins off a scrap head from some jap bike, with a bit of grinding and sanding, it was good to go for pretty cheap
Re: Quota Heads
Most likely any of the 1100 square heads from the first (1995 I think) 1100 Cali to the 2004. Possibly even the 1000 cc heads would work as well if the valve size is the same. I believe the sport heads are different in the valve area. Check valve part numbers from the Quota to the one that is available to be sure. John Zibell

Re: Quota HeadsJust make sure that any head you intend to use can accept the single throttle body that the Quota employs.
I understand that the twin throttle body that the California and others use will not fit in the Quota frame.
Re: Quota HeadsI think the heads are the same. The Quota uses a different intake manifold. The heads look the same as my Stone.
Re: Quota HeadsPart numbers confirm they are the same. Must be all in the inlet manifold(s).
Re: Quota HeadsMake sure the heads you use on the right side has the boss in it for the temp sender. Ask me how I know.
