Quota: throttle cable adjuster

The parts manual shows the adjuster at the throttle (30 11 79 25) as a separate piece from the throttle cable but the cable currently on the bike the adjuster and cable are integrated with no way to remove it. I would appreciate if someone could look at their Quota and see if the adjuster is slotted like the typical clutch cable adjuster. My guess is that guzzi may have made two versions.

Didnt check the manual but if I remember correctly on mine it is part of the cable. The end of the cable will not slide through.
I'll double check it tomorrow.

After a little snooping around; my best guess is that Guzzi produced two cable configurations. Luckily for me the cable frayed at home and not 1000 miles away from home in a desert. I was able to cut a slot into the adjuster with miniature files. This cable snafu turned a 30 minute job into a 3-hr job. See attached pic. There's no way of knowing which cable you'll get when you order a replacement. So be prepared.

I found a clutch cable adjuster that is probably the same part with the slot already in place on the MG Cycle web page. Part number 30602500. I'll have to try it on the throttle and follow up with a post.
