daytona tyres

daytona rs,had it for 3 weeks,not as fast as old fireblade, but i love it, only problem is ,hitting just a small bump on a bend results in a results in weave, suspect worn still legal f/pirelli can anyone endorse this? and suggest best tyres:

A little head shake on that bike isn't uncommon. First check the steering head bearings. Then the rest of the suspension setup such as damper settings, oil level in the forks, swing arm adjustment and so forth. Misbehaving in a turn is rarely tire related unless they are really shot. Tire choice is pretty much personal choice. Just pick a matched pair of what you like.

Thanks John,i'm going to fit a pair of sticky bridgestones then play with suspension ect, just one other thing" CAMBELTS" the bike is a 99 with 6800k

Yes the cam belts should be replaced, just because of age alone..

thought so,better make my mind up weather to tackle job myself or look for a dealer,looks like a lotta stuffs gotta come off to get to em,anyway thanks again

Which tyre did you end up with? I've run the Bridgestone BT-014 on my Sport 1100 and really like it. It's discontinued now in favor of the BT-016. I've not yet tried the new BT-016.

hi rocker59, did'nt get round to new cambelts, hence no riding, and no need for tyres,shes laid up for the winter right now, but I'LL let you know

Finally got to ride the bike this eve with new BT016s i headed for a bike meet,approx 50 mile round trip and from the off i noticed a difference, it had lost that heavy feel as with the old pirellies,It felt much better and was a joy to ride.By the way did i say ? the sound is AWESOME, also its got a Creedon chip fitted +Raceco spare
