***ATTENTION*** 11-14-2011 THE DISCUSSION BOARD IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO EXTREME USE OF SERVER SYSTEM RESOURCES. It has become obvious that a system upgrade is in order. I am currently checking into alternative hosting methods.
The sheer costs of Dedicated server hosting and premier support is becoming impossible to justify for a free discussion board.
I have no current Estimated Time of Availability. Please check back often.
Thanks, Luap McKeever

Same here. In Chrome and in Firefox I get
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forum/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
That's because I'm going to http://www.wildguzzi.com/forum ... as opposed to wildguzzi.com and then selecting Discussion.
Thanks for the update, Phang.

Found this just now. Luap is asking for donations, hopes to be back by Saturday. I donated once this year, and was ready to pitch in again, but the PayPal link is broken for now.
***UPDATE***
11-15-2011
A new server is being built at this time to better accommodate the growth we have seen.
I hope to have it online by 11-19-11. The new server is not free, nor cheap. It should serve us well way into the future.
Donations are appreciated to help with expenses. Donations via Paypal (FREE, quick, and simple. You do NOT have to register).
The server costs roughly $200 per month to maintain. Without donations, it could vanish indefinitely. As always...thanks for your support and patience during this time of expansion.

Bandwidth costs money, and free sites are too often taken for granted. Remember that as you visit/post here. No site owners want to move to a "paid to view" site, but as you grow it is inevitable without proper support... i.e., donations, advertising, etc.
PayPal donation button is always at the top of the screen here too.
Appreciate (greatly) what little support we get from a small few.

Just chipped in with small donations for both sites. I'm a relatively new convert to the cult of Guzzi, but with my dealer getting ready to go out of business, I'm willing to do all I can to keep this helpful community alive to answer all the newbie questions I'll be coming up with in the near future.

I may be a nerd, but not an IT geek, so I haven't a clue.
On the short piece, w/g works for me; has since the latest "crash" was fixed.
As for the longer-term tech problem, I thought Luap explained that at some length when he came back "on the air." Suspect won't see many problems now for at least another year.
