Rear brake pedal adjustment

Have just put a set of Knight Design pegs on my 8v and they have made the ride a lot better for my old knees. I want to lower the brake pedal but cant find any info in the manual. Are they adjustable? Has anyone put a longer peg on the brake pedal

the little rubber peg part can be rotated for a little adjustment.
