Fantastic! That actually fits in with what I'm finding AND what mates in the trade who have dealt with Aprilia/Piaggio have said. hey are in fact one of the EASIEST companies to deal with as long as you approach the whole matter the right way.

I've gone in to bat for a variety of customers, (Including myself!) when I've seen a problem that was manifestly an assembley or manufacturing fault and in 90% of cases I've had a good result. The one real no-brainer I've been knocked back on was a shitty tank on a V7 'Racer' but I put in the second warranty request on that and I think the owner had done a lot of screaming and shouting and generally behaving like a 'Rhymes with Runt' before that.

No better way to ensure you get the bum's rush than shrieking and threatening the bloke you're relying on you to 'Git 'er done'! Simple 'Manners' comes into it......
