Tail and tank bags other than the factory stuff?Anybody using anything out there? I was thinking more of a tail bag that would mount on the passenger seat, rather than getting the luggage rack...
Re: Tail and tank bags other than the factory stuff?Hello;
I have the Factory Griso tail bag and rear rack. It works well... Looks good. I haven't seen a tail bag that is designed to fit where the passenger seat is. Sam Baker

Re: Tail and tank bags other than the factory stuff?I use a small Touratech Enduro 2 bag on the back of the seat. It fits well 'coz it tapers almost exactly the same as the seat. I had to modify the straps but that was easy. It does expand but is really only big enough for a day's bare essentials not full-on touring. It worked a lot better on my old 1100 2v than the 8v 'coz the 1100 has a flatter seat.

Re: Tail and tank bags other than the factory stuff?The Griso tail bag can be used as a seat bag.
The 2 tie down points that you would normally secure the bag to the rack can be secured to the seat strap. I used the shoulder strap and looped it over the blinker stalk, under the fender, and up over the other blinker stak and then adjust it tight . I'll put a picture up tonight.2007 Griso Red
