Hi Todd -

I purchased one of these from you but haven't installed it yet. What do you mean fuel manipulation is mandatory?

Low speed fueling will be quite horrible, likely hardly ride-able, with this (only) installed.

How much would it be to sort the fueling? Is this done via a Power Comander or is it possible to just get the stock ECU re-flashed with a modified map?

Oops. Guess I'll have to drop a G on the PC_V solution.

Todd I haven't done my PCV /AT install yet, plan to next week. Since I got the CNC ring after you sent the PCV will the base map you installed in the PCV be OK or do I need a different base map ? BTW the ring is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and the air sensor plugged right in.
Question the bike is in undress mode Tank off, upper fairings off, air box off. What is the best way to tackle the ECU removal ?

Is this a Griso? If so, ECU is behind the front forks. There is a plastic cover held on by two bolts and the ECU has two bolts and a ground strap connected to it. The harness has some clamps that rotate 90 degrees in order to disconnect them from the ECU. I posted this a few weeks ago:
http://forum.guzzitech.com/forum/164/3475.html

It has a picture showing the ECU cover (#8).

Thanks, draidt has a Norge. I just stickied the ECU removal thread in the Norge Tech section.

Marco, want to be the first to try my ECU flash? $640 + shipping. Otherwise, looks like I will be doing another run of PC-V. Check in on the PC-V R2.0 thread in the main section.

Todd

Do you have an updated PCV map for the Norge with CNC open air box and aftermarket pipe ? If you do I would like to get it in before I crank er up for the first time and eliminate most of the Auto Tune trim updates, caused by the open air box.

Just received the air box ring and filter today. Looks great and really cleans things up. Looks like rain tomorrow, test ride is going to have to wait.
