Can I reset the odometer?

Hi all,

My good mate has a 2004 Nevada 750, actually its his wifes, had it for a few years and runs like a dream.

Problem is the odometer meter which is electronic, has gone to 99,999 and stops there. It will not tick over and start again from zero. most frustrating as she uses it to track services etc.

Is anybody aware of a way to reset the odometer back to zero please.

This seems to be a consistent problem and has been commented on before. So far, no one (including the factory) has come up with a way to reset the odometer. Only recourse at this time is a new dash, which seems a little extreme.

that's a strange thing... and the factory doesn't have a solution for that "problem"...?
Maybe there are "naughty" boys in your neighbourhood (who can set back odometers from modern cars)?
There is a possibilty they can help you.
