The thread of the AutoTune maps

Postby Zapa » Fri Oct 02, 2009 3:56 pm

Well, not yet :D but I think it's about the time we start to post what works better in our AutoTune setups, and why.

Please post anything, from procedures to solutions.

Edit: Just to clarify, I would like to see Target AFR maps, and why you chose the values listed. I think it's important to have those AFRs right to let the PC-V "learn" ASAP with the correct target.

I tried posting a map here but received a message that files with the ".pvm" extension are not allowed? What am I doing wrong?

I'm using a full 13.2 map with 13.6 in the area contained in 5-20% of throttle and between 3500 and 5500rpm.

I am leaving mine as is at 13.2 to see what the fuel consumption changes are. Considering i only ride once a week saving on fuel is not a high priority.

My Autotune Map

Postby Spaceclam » Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:09 am

Just thought i'd share things with yall. Here is the autotune map off my griso 1100, with Todd's L/S pipe. Valves are adjusted at about 5 and 7, throttle bodies balanced, and i am using Todd's open airbox lid. AFRs are st to 13.4 everywhere except between 3750 and 5250 in 40-100% throttle. In those areas, it's 13.2. I wont be able to comment on mileage until i get bored playing with my throttle.

I have to save it as a zip because PVM files arent allowed here for some reason. Its not a virus, i promise.

Does anyone have a map for a Griso 8V? If so does it have an open airbox and what type of exhaust? Thanks!

Guys. if you don't see it, contact me direct... I have a few that I haven't had time to post. However, below is for a G8V with my airbox ring/BMC filter & Mistral slip-on.

Thanks Todd! I think that's the same file you emailed me about a month ago, but I didn't know it was for the open airbox. That should work great.
Was it developed by auto-tune or dyno?
I have the version 1 ECU map. Should I upgrade to the version 2 for use with that PC V map?

*CRITICAL NOTE*: For those running the GT-Rx ECU do *NOT EVER* overwrite the ECU with any map updates.
All supplied maps here are built by Autotune. I will state if I know the map verison on the notes section of the PC-V map. Also, supplied maps here using other revisions on my ECU that will likely be different enough to warrant diferent fueling over the OEM ECU.
